Wrist Atelier
The Wrist Atelier™ is Valmont's proprietary, zero-dependency scale engine designed to give watch collectors a realistic spatial understanding of case dimensions before purchase.
Core customer experience
- Four configurable concept case sizes or up to eight products with verified dimensions.
- An editable reference diameter (defaulting to 38 mm as a familiar baseline). Both reference and selected timepiece share a single synchronized vector drawing scale.
- Side-by-side and overlaid silhouettes providing numerical differences and difference per lug edge.
- Front-facing orthographic cutout calibrated by case-width percentage and case optical center. Timepieces without cutouts gracefully fall back to precision vector diagrams.
- Printable 1:1 scale dimension template featuring concentric sizing rings, lug-to-lug guides, and a 50 mm calibration check ruler.
Merchant configuration
The section type is fit-preview, retaining full editor controls for heading, copy, guide link, and cutout calibration.
In a Size or product block, selecting a product reads all dimensions directly from the numeric watch.case_diameter, watch.lug_to_lug, and watch.case_thickness metafields (or the linked watch profile). If a chosen product lacks case diameter, it is omitted from the storefront scale view.
For photographic case overlay, use a transparent PNG or WebP orthographic front cutout. Set the case width percentage (excluding the crown) relative to total canvas width, alongside its horizontal and vertical centers. Default concept values are ~60% case width centered at 50% / 48%.
Up to four Additional wrist photo blocks can be attached to demonstrate on-wrist perspective across measured wrist circumferences.
